DESCRIPTION

Performed under our City of Buckeye JOC, this project included the construction of an underground HP polypropylene stormwater storage system and a parking lot expansion at the Buckeye Aquatics Center.

Project scope featured the installation of north and south ADS STORMTECH® underground retention systems, ADS Nyloplast® catch basins, and 5,684 SY of 3” asphalt concrete on 6” aggregate base. Additional improvements included 1,845 LF of curb and gutter, 728 SF of MAG 230 sidewalk, 725 SF of modified MAG 230 sidewalk (6” thick with #3 rebar), 194 SF concrete spillway, ADA-compliant ramps, parking lot lighting with conduit and conductors, and landscaping with irrigation system installation.

BANICKI BENEFIT

Serving as Prime Contractor, Banicki self-performed 70% of the total scope. The project was completed ahead of schedule despite an owner-initiated change order for modifications to the underground storage system inflow.
