DESCRIPTION

Performed under our current Valley Metro JOC, this task order included the construction of a brand-new bus stop and shelter in front of the under-construction Arizona Complete Health Resource Center in the City of Avondale. This task order was delivered in two phases in order for Banicki to immediately start construction on the civil and roadway improvements while fabrication of the new bus shelter furnishings was ongoing.

Project scope included vacuum excavation to identify existing fiber optic utilities, sanitary sewer adjustments, traffic control, sidewalk removal, asphalt removal, excavation, subgrade prep, ABC placement, asphalt pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, concrete bus bay, shelter pad, bus shelter canopy, bench, trash can, and handrail.
